McGuire Method Coaching

We have enjoyed working with the McGuire Method at SmartyPants over the course of the last year. They have partnered with different levels in our organization from entry-level to senior leadership, and we can honestly say that every single person has benefited from their work with McGuire Method coaches. Their courses are set up in such a way that the flow is easy to follow. Present Like a Pro Online helped me with my most important pitch: selling my strengths during a job interview. After months of being unemployed, I finally got the confidence to effectively present my resume and managed to secure a role at a great company. The McGuire Method course is filled with tips and exercises that break down every important part of giving a pitch no matter what the subject. I highly recommend it!

The McGuire Method's interactive workshop at USC was such a tremendous learning experience. Coaches provided not only tactics and strategies, but a framework we could apply to any situation - pitching investors, telling our story to potential employers, or even selling our ideas to possible co-founders.

As the chief educator at the public-health campaign of Dear Pandemic, I was profoundly struck by the immediate boost to our team’s skills and confidence. Our mission is to educate the public through the pandemic, and with McGuire Method coaching we will be able to do much more effectively. Indeed, I was able to put her guidance to use immediately in media appearances and Q&A sessions with lay audiences. McGuire Method coaching will have a major multiplier effect as our “Nerdy Girl” team continues to help individuals stay safe and sane during this deeply troubled time.

Before the McGuire Method, we didn’t have a pitch. We did a LOT of talking. Now we have the confidence to say ONE thing that seems to lands with everyone. Our coach disseminated our information in what seemed to be a nanosecond and delivered our pitch. We have been hitting home runs ever since.

I don’t need sales training, the other guy does, right?? Well, if you are ever find yourself being “the other guy,” the McGuire Method is a great resource. My coach was able to help this dyed-in-the-wool cynic come out of the weeds and be more concise without fear of watering down the message (although apparently not to stop speaking in the third person).

The McGuire Method gave me the language and tools to confidently craft a pitch for my consulting services. My coach helped me find my voice, one that represented me and my company, not the organizations and brands that employed me for years. In addition, my coach's mastery of the material plus her confidence in my success made this workshop unforgettable.
